Canthigaster compressa és una espècie de peix de la família dels tetraodòntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.

Morfologia

  • Els mascles poden assolir 12 cm de longitud total.[1][2]

Hàbitat

És un peix de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 5-16 m de fondària.[1][3]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de les Filipines fins a Salomó, les illes Ryukyu, el sud de les illes Mariannes i Vanuatu.[1][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.[1]
