Albaton is an unincorporated community in Fairview Township, Monona County, Iowa, United States.[1] Albaton is located in the northwest corner of the county, 4.8 miles (7.7 km) southwest of Sloan.[2]

History

Albaton's population was 44 in 1902,[3] and 27 in 1925.[4] The population was 15 in 1940.[5]
