Bu'ale (Somali: Bu'aale Arabic: بالي) is an agricultural town in Southern Somalia, the capital of the Middle Juba region and the Capital city of the Jubaland State of Somalia. .

History

Bu'ale was made the capital city for the Jubaland State of Somalia on 2 April 2013.[1]

Since 2014 the town, along with Jilib and Jamame is under the control of militant Islamic extremist group Al-Shabaab.[2]
