Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS) Limited operates as a transport consultancy and infrastructure development company. Established as a joint venture entity, it maintains equal equity shares between the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD)[1]

Incorporation

DIMTS was established in 2006 with the objective of undertaking the preparation, planning, design, and execution of intricate transport-oriented initiatives within Delhi.[2] In 2007, DIMTS was formally incorporated as an equal equity joint venture between the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and the IDFC Foundation. The company's board comprises equal representation from both GNCTD and IDFC.[3]

DIMTS is affiliated with several organizations including the Transportation Research & Injury Prevention Programme (TRIPP) at IIT Delhi, the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) in the United Kingdom, Indian Railways, the Consulting Engineers Association of India, and the Open Standard for Public Transport (OSPT™) Alliance.
