Lochristi (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌloːˈkrɪsti]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality is composed of the towns of Beervelde [nl], Lochristi proper, Zaffelare [nl] and Zeveneken [nl]. As of 2021, Lochristi had a total population of 22,621. The total area is 60.34 km² (23.30 sq mi).^[2]
