Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble^[a] is an upcoming 2024 platform game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega for the Nintendo Switch.

Gameplay

Similar to previous games, Banana Rumble consists of controlling one of the playable characters into a hazardous stage and reaching the goal under the time limit.

A new move, the Spin Dash, allow the player to dash under speed to reach shortcuts, but the move requires a cooldown upon use. Multiplayer is supported locally with four players, a feature returning from Super Monkey Ball, and an alternate online mode where 16 players engage into minigames.

Development

Banana Rumble is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2024.^[1]^[2]
