Sonic Rush (jap. ソニック・ラッシュ, Sonikku Rasshu)^[1] on Sonic Teamin ja Dimpsin kehittämä sekä Segan vuonna 2005 julkaisema Sonic the Hedgehog-pelisarjan tasohyppelypeli Nintendo DS:lle. Se julkaistiin Pohjois-Amerikassa 15. marraskuuta, PAL-maissa 18. marraskuuta ja Japanissa 23. marraskuuta 2005. Se on kaksiulotteinen peli, jossa on käytetty jonkin verran myös 3D-elementtejä, luoden 2.5D -efektiä. Pomotaistelut sekä Sonicin erikoistasot ovat kokonaan kolmiulotteisia. Pelin juoni seuraa pelisarjan uuden hahmon, Blaze the Catin sekä sarjan päähahmon, Sonic the Hedgehogin seikkailuja. He taistelevat vuorotellen Dr. Eggmanin kaksoisolentoa, Eggman Negaa vastaan tietyissä kohdissa pelin aikana. Tämä on Rumble Pak-peli Sonic the hedgehog-pelisarjassa.

Peli esiteltiin ensimmäistä kertaa nimellä Sonic DS E3 2004-messuilla ja vuotta myöhemmin E3 2005-messuilla nimellä Sonic Rush.^[2]^[3] Pelin 2.5D formaatti painottuu Sonic Teamin ideaan yhdistää 2D ja 3D pelit sarjassaan.^[4] Julkaisunsa jälkeen Sonic Rush sai hyvän vastaanoton kriitikoilta, jotka kiittelivät pelin musiikkia sekä samanlaisutta vanhojen pelien kanssa, mutta kritiikkiä aiheutti puolestaan sen nopeus kokonaisuudessaan. Pelille kehitettiin ja julkaistiin jatko-osa, Sonic Rush Adventure vuonna 2007.
