Jerry Lewis (nama lahir Joseph atau Jerome Levitch;^[1] 16 Maret 1926–20 Agustus 2017) adalah seorang komedian, aktor, penyanyi, produser film, penulis latar dan sutradara film Amerika. Ia dikenal karena humor slapstick-nya di film, televisi, panggung, dan radio.

Sejak 1946, Lewis bersama partnernya, Dean Martin yang terkenal sebagai Martin dan Lewis membintangi serial komedi produksi Paramount Pictures. Namun kebersanaan ini tak mampu dipertahankan, 10 tahun kemudian mereka bubar. Lewat debut film The Delicate Delinquent pada 1957 Lewis mulai tampil seorang diri, tanpa partner seperti sebelumnya. Pada 1960, Lewis menjajal menyutradarai film melalui film The Bellboy. Terakhir, ia terlibat di film The Nutty Professor pada 2008. Di ajang Academy Awards ke-81 yang diadakan pada 22 Februari 2009, Lewis mendapat penghargaan Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award atas kiprahnya di dunia film selama ini.

Kematian

Lewis meninggal di kediamannya di Las Vegas, Nevada, Amerika Serikat pada 20 Agustus 2017.^[2]
