Pencelupan alami

Natural dyes merupakan pencelupan atau pewarnaan yang berasal dari tumbuhan, invertebrata, atau mineral. Kebanyakan pencelupan alami adalah pencelupan sayuran dari sumber-sumber tumbuhan—akar, buah beri, pepagan, daun, dan kayu—dan sumber organik lainnya seperti jamur dan lumut kerak.

Di China, pencelupan dengan tumbuhan, pepagan dan serangga yang telah digunakan lebih dari 5,000 tahun.^[1]
