George Andrew Romero (4 Şubat 1940 - 16 Temmuz 2017), Amerikalı bir yönetmen, yazar, editör ve aktördür. Daha çok 'Of the Dead' zombi filmleri ile bilinir, filmlerinde modern toplumlar üstünde zombi felaketlerini anlatır.

1968 yılında çektiği 'Night of the Living Dead' türünün kült filmlerinden biri olarak klasikleşmiştir. 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978), 'Day of the Dead' (1985) ve 'Land of the Dead' (2005) yönetmenin en önemli filmleridir .
